Suppose there are two routers R1 and R2 at the customer edge each running bgp

How can we configure loadbalancing and failover in case of link failure

In the case of link failure, is routing information is shared between R1 and R2, fail over should normally be fine.

In case of load balancing, Balaji's reference shows all but (I believe) the way to load balance to different ASs. The latter is accomplished by using a "hidden" command (which I forget the exact syntax for, but it's noted in different posts on these forums).
