BGP Multipath

Hi All,

We have 6880X as core switch wiht 2 INTERNET links. One internet link is fiber and the other one is Microwave.

We are running BGP with Multipath enable which is doing the Auto load balancing on both links

However we are facing some issues with Critical applications like Teams meeting, Voice traffic goes by Microwave link.

I want to my critical applications use the Primay link which is fiber and rest can follow the Microwave.

Also if i use primay link for critical applications them might be my Primary link will be taking very less traffic and secondary will be overutilized.

Can someone please suggest what will be best solution we can deploy in this case.

QOS might be an solution but it will take some time to plan and implement.

Possibly PfR, which can also (optionally) integrate with QoS, but it too will likely take time to plan and implement to meet your needs if you also want specific traffic use specific links.  Otherwise it can pretty easily better (i.e. dynamically) load balance and further move traffic about based on end-to-end performance/quality.  (Note: to a beginner with the technology, even the simple configuration won't appear simple.)
