Can any one please tell me what is Transit/public/private peering.

Hi Akber,

Transit = Internet access. Usually by paying another network (i.e. ISP) for internet access.

Public Peering = Interconnection of multiple internet networks using a shared switch fabric

Private Peering = Interconnection of two networks using a point-to-point connection
