When I run sh run on the router, I don't any information about BGP at all in the output. However, when I run sh IP bgp..., I can see the IBGP and EBGP information. I have security level of 15. Any reason why the 'show running config" does not include BGP info?

Hi,
Is that only for BGP config or is it the same for IGP too ?
try "sh run | section bgp" or "sh run | begin bgp" or "sh run | in router bgp" et al...just curious..-:)

It is for both IBGP and EBGP. Nothing shows at all.

Thanks for your help. But why
the BGP info doesn't show up if I don't use the output modifier?
Thanks.

You may want to look at updating the IOS. I seem to remember someone else on here having the same issue until they updated. What type of equipment are you running and IOS version?
