Hi,
The following CCO link explains the differences, with examples, of unicast, multicast and broadcast traffic. If you are still unclear please post any specific queries. Look under the heading Unicast, Broadcast, and Multicast Traffic.

In a nutshell:
- unicast traffic is that which is destined to a single destination
- multicast traffic is that which is destined to a subset of hosts/routers in a network
- broadcast traffic is that which is destined to all hosts in a network segment
Hope that helps - pls do rate the post if it does.
