C1111-4LTE IOS downgrade and License requirements

Hi,

I have two questions with this particular device.

1. Can i downgrade directly from 17.6 to 16.9.x? If so what are the requirements.

2. For me to support DMNR, do i need to have appx license?

Your answers will be greatly appreciated

Hi Balaj,

Would you be able to share the downgrade steps? wasnt able to see that on the release notes. Also, upon checking the recommended rommon for 16.9.x is 16.9(1r), does that mean it only supported on that rommon version?

Yes, i mean dynamic mobile network configuration. Ill be configuring it on the 1111-4lte router. The PWG is already setup so i need to connect to it via my provider

when you downgrade from 17.X to lower, the ROMMON stay 17.3.X i dont remember exact, that does not matter for the IOS XE downgrade 16.9.X (not sure what is the reason for downgrade here)

downgrade depends on the INSTALL Mode  or Bundle Mode

if bundle is easy change the boot variable to old and reboot.

as per i know ipservice license should work for you.

i need to downgrade since i dont have a cisco smart account to support smart licensing, so i need to switch back to traditional licensing

for what i know there is no option for ipservices license for c1000 series routers

16.9.X onwards everything smart License, may be lower version you can downgrade.

for what i know there is no option for ipservices license for c1000 series routers  - i mean security License.
