Just bought this switch it has the IP base IOS and I need to use BGP and VRF-lite. My question is can I configure and use these two things without having to upgrade to the IP Services IOS? Thanks in advance for your input!

You need to upgrade the license for either.
If you only want to test something there is a test license valid for 60 days if I am not misremebering already installed in the switch.
you just have to enable it.
Good luck

Is that for both? If I just wanted to use BGP is that an option? I understand that VRF-Lite is only available when you have IP Services but am not sure about the BGP part because it seems the switch does let me enter BGP commands. Thanks guys.
