Hi ,
I have a requirement to have a minimum of 40G throughput on the Cisco Router Model C8500-12X4QC. But as per the DNA licensing structure , i could see only the below, ie a max throughput of 20G. Is there any license which can be added to increase the throughput of the router?
DNA-P-T3-A-7Y Cisco DNA Advantage On-Prem Lic 7Y - upto 10G (Aggr, 20G) |

C8500-12X4QC is the wrong choice to support 40 Gbps.
C8500-20X6C can support >50 Gbps.
Kindly refer to Ordering Hardware, Table 7.

hi Leo,
I did notice that earlier. But there is another table which mentions the interface speed capabilities of C8500 series.
The C8500-12X4QC supports a 40G interface, which is fantastic. It got me thinking—could Cisco be offering a different kind of license that would enhance the real capabilities of this router even further?

Raise a TAC Case.
I think this is a documentation bug.
