C9300 Routing issues

Hi eveyone,

I might need some help to fix a very wierd issue. I needed to deleate some vlan in a switch, but unfortunately did it on the core. I let you imagine the chaos... now all the vlan are back up, but I have a really wierd case :

I have a VM in the vlan 1 that loose connectivity periodically. 8888 ping does'nt go through, and after a few hours it regain connectivity for a few hours, then looses it again without any change in configuration.

I've checked all other vlan are doing well, it happens only with vlan 1 and it's the only one I couldn't delete.

The core is a 9300 that routes traffic to an edge router. When the connectivity is down, I can't ping my VM from the router but I can from the core.The routes in the routeur are good...

How do you think I can move forward in the diagnostic ?

Looks for me you have some weird L2 loops issue or duplicate MAC address may causing this issue.

can you post show run from Cat 9300 and also post your network diagram how other device connected

show run

show span

show vlan

show ip interface brief

show cdp neigh

There is temporarily loop and the reason is you config portfast in all port' AND I think you config it in port connect to other SW.

This make port fwd then blk then fwd.

Check this point

as per Long configuration - FO_SEVLC is root bridge over PO1 ( as @paul driver also mentioned)

So make sure CORE should be root for STP if you looking stability, make sure others can not elect as root bridge for consistencey

Suggest you manually set the stp root to be the core and  make all other switch run the same stp mode, lasty any edge ports, append portfast.
