Hello

1) provision your stack switchs from the switch that you wish to be the stack master whilst the stack creation takes place

Example

switch 2 provision ws2960x-24ts

switch 3 provision ws2960x-24ts

2)cable the switchs as such their stack cables are like

sw1 port 1 — sw port2

sw2 port 1 - sw3 port 2

Sw3 port 1 - sw1 port 2

Make sure the switchs are powered down before you attach the stack cabling then power them up

laslty once the stack is up you can change the switch priorities to accommodate which switch you prefer to be the master

(this can be done before the stack is brought up but if need be)

basically you connect a stack-1 port to a stack-2 port
with three switches you have
sw1-st1 -> sw2-st2
sw2-st1 -> sw3-st2
and to close the loop
sw3-st1 to sw1-st2
