Can a VWIC3-4MFT-T1/E1 be used in place of a VWIC3-2MFT-G703?

Greetings,

I was wondering if you could replace 2x VWIC3-2MFT-G703 with a 1x VWIC3-MFT-T1/E1 running over clear channel E1 circuits if you configure the following:

A-end:

clock source internal

B-end:

clock source line

The reason for this is to consolidate the VWIC cards in order to migrate the service to a new platform?

It can be used, however routers on both sides of the circuits will need to be configured for framed, 31 timeslots service.

Yes, I figured I would lose a timeslot of 64kbps on each circuit.
