Can anyone help me change mac address on 1841 please ?

Hi ,

Im trying to change my fa0/0 port`s mac address so my broadband will work through my 1841 as my BB is setup to run from the mac address of the old router and i need to set this on up with the old mac address in order for my internet to work ?

I have searched google etc but not much there for the 1841 series ...

Hi,

im sorry but i dont think i explained correcly ... i need to clone hardware mac address from old router into port fa0/0 for my virgin internet to work through this router.

My BB is mac controlled that is why i need to edit the address on the 1841 to match the old router.

You should be able to just go under the interface and type "mac-address" with the MAC you want to use.
