I have a 2651 with one T1 card. Both slots on this T1 are occupied as I have 2 T1's coming in already. Now I want to add more bandwidth to my internet connection and purchased a 3rd T1. How do I add this 3rd T1 to my network?
I am not sure if I can add a second T1 card to 2651XM? If anyone knows, plz let me know.
OR
Do I need to add another router in parallel to 2651?
OR
Do I need to purchase a saprate router that can support 3 x T1's and get rid of 2651?
Your help is much appreciated.

Hi,
you can use the WIC-2T or the VWIC-2MFT-T1.
The 2651Xm has two WIC slot so you can support up to four serial links using the cards above.
I would recommend the second because you can connect the circuit directly without external CSU/DSU, hence monitoring the circuit much better.

There is really no need to replace the router just to have it support 3 T1s.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

The 26XX series is capable of taking 8 T1 connections.
Have a look at this link

The Cisco 2600 Series WIC slots supports 20 interface cards and i would agree to the suggestion made by paolo.
