Can I have multiple service-instances on a WAN interface? C1111-8P

Hej
C1111-8P
We have C1111-8P and we would like to have multiple Service or Vlan interfaces on a WAN interface.

Is it possible to configure? I only see service-instance configuration at Physical port level and can only configure 1.

Can we for example, configure Service instances on a WAN subinterface?

Regards

Service instance use only for evpn'

You can simply use subinterface.

Note :- use subinterface meaning other side of link must run subinterface or trunk' are you sure SP interface run one of it??

One service instance can tunnel multiples protocol and forward many others. You may not need more than one instance.

"Tunnel more layer 2 protocols (mvrp/mmrp/elmi/link-oam/esmc/dtp) and forwards all 12 protocols (R4 R5 R6 R8 R9 RA RB RC RD RF stp vtp cdp pagp udld lacp dtp lldp ptppd mvrp mmrp elmi link-oam esmc)."

If your WAN interface is Ethernet, I dont see why it would not support service instance.
