Hello Everyone,
I'm looking into building a CCNA home lab. I'm going to incorporate both physical and virtual (GNS3 or VIRL). My question is about IOS. Is there a minimum IOS I should be using? I really haven't found a solid answer on this and I don't want to start investing money into if its not going to be covered within the test. I would really appreciate some advice on this.
Thank you,
Justin

if you looking CCNA Lab using GNS3 - you have IOL available 15.X
VIRL ship with IOS images.
If you have physical you can also use 12.X for some hardware, if you have some new hardware you can 15.X features.
Since you have not mentioned what TRACK, I gave advise thinking CCNA RNS
