Hi,

I'm from Brazil, and I have an 1700 cisco Router and a ADSL connection to Internet.

How may I use it on my home network?

There's any configuration that I should to do?

Regards.

You can set ISP modem in bridge mode, then configure router accordingly to ISP settings.

To learn how to configure router, have someone teach you, read documentation, or search cisco.com

Unless there is a specific reason, Cisco IOS routers are not a good choice for homes use.

In addition to that, old 1700 series may be too slow for modern ADSL speed.

So you best choice is to use a consumer-grade router.

hi Paolo,

Actually I'm doing a LAB.

Currently, I have a Moden provided by the Operator with concexão being routed by a TP-Link (Wireless)

My doubt is how to connect this to this Cisco Router TP-Link, and I have a small LAN before this 1700 ... and would like to test if my LAN get on the Internet, even through this 1700.

I do not know if I was clear, but I hope you can help me. Actually I'm doing a LAB.
