What I did so far is:

-using another router (Cisco 1812) I deleted the IOS from 2811's flash card.

-using Cisco 1812 and TFTP server I made copy tftp flash with new IOS image (c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M6.bin)

-then I put flash card with new IOS image to my 2811 router

-when I switch the 2811 on, I get what I have pasted above

Please, let me know what I am doing wrong, or how should I solve my problem? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Jaroslaw,

I hope you’re doing well.

From your output it seems like your image is having problem, Please download new IOS on your laptop and use can use tftpnld method to recover device in ROMMON(here is the document link for it  https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-2340 ). Another way is your flash: need to have valid image and then you can boot your device from rommon . Insert flash: with valid image, then turn on your device(Don’t insert or remove flash: online, some time there might be chances that flash: electrically get damage) and press CTRL+break to stuck your device in rommon.

use dir flash: command to check your image in flash:

copy that image and type boot flash:

Also there are  some software available on internet ,you can use them to verify md5 checksum , You can copy this software in your PC and verify available image in your PC with image given on cisco.com site.

Hope it helps you

Then I used tftpnld method based on link from you. Here is the output:

I think RAM is ok, because when I use both of my RAM modules I get:

This platform does not support 1 GB Memory

Total Memory is Restricted to 768 MB

So I think that my router is able to find both memory modules.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem when setting up my voip lab.  All you have to do is remove all the memory, then boot up the router and let it run for about a minute or two.  Reinstall memory then boot up router.  When you run the router without the memory in it, it eliminates the Checksum error by booting into rom mode and it erasing the wrong checksum which lets it boots correctly.  Too me troubleshooting this to find it out so I know it works for me....good luck.
