Hi,
Appreciate some advice here..
I have an existing C2821 router (2 onboard GE + 1 HWIC-2FE) currently.
Like to add another 1 HWIC-2FE.
Saw this doc on Cisco website which states Max of 2 HWIC-2FE for Cisco2821. Want to confirm this is indeed so as another link states max of 1 HWIC-2FE.
2 x HWIC-2FE found on
www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10538/aag_c07_563807.pdf

1 x HWIC-2FE found on:
thanks in advance.

Check if you really need that. In most cases using a switch and VLAN is a better choice.

sadly i really need the 5 ports due to connections to WAN + Riverbed + tertiary links. no other way for me ot do VLAN or via switch.
Do u happen to know if this is supported?

Not sure why you say it can't be done with a switch, because it can.
I would avoid placing so many fast interface on a slow router like the old 2821.
