You've got the wrong IOS. You need an IOS with the "T" train.

if i upgrade the IOS of T will the interface work ?

If you upgrade to an IOS with the "T" train, your interface will be detected by the router.

simply type "yes" when you see prompt:
"Erase flash: before copying? [confirm]" y
It will erase flash and make space for new IOS.

I don’t get the option Erase Flash :before Copying .
Get the Error : %Error copying ftp://****:****@122.168.191.87/c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.124-24.T6.bin (Not enough space on device)
Please advice other options…..

The other option is to manually delete the existing image from flash and then copy the new image into flash.
I have done this many times and it works. Note that there is a potential problem with doing this - if the router were to reload for some reason after you have manually deleted the existing image and before the download of the new image has completed then the router will not have an image to boot. This is not likely but you do need to be aware of the possibility in deciding whether you want to use this option.
