Hi,
Im planning to deploy GWIP between our headquarter and the remote branch.
As you know I'm a Cisco man and I dont have exerience in Juniper, however it would be good for me to learn new technologies.
I'm comparing between Cisco 2911 ISR router and Juniper SRX240H.
We have purchased 10Mb WAN link. According to the specs, Cisco 2900 can only support up to 75 Mbps WAN while SRX240H can supprot up to 1.5 Gbps.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Surely they are different boxes. Compare them and their price to see what better matches your needs.

Telstra GWIP?
It doesn't matter what speed the router can/can't do. You have a 10mb GWIP line so a 2900 can do just fine. If you're going to argue that you may bring the WAN link to say 30-40mb, then maybe the 2900 is not enough if you consider putting encryption.

Hi,
SRX products are not really used as routers. They are used as firewall/IDS/IPS. You can't really compare SRX with 2900 series, however you can compare the 2900 series with Juniper J-series routers.
