Hi all
Quick question, i have a 2921 with a 8 port EHWIC module and a 9 port HWIC module. The 8 port works fine, the 9 port works fine (when it was in the 8 ports location slot). I've move the 9 port to subslot 3 (from 1 where the 8 port is located). If i run show inventory (see below) its seen no problem, however if i use the command show ip int all it shows are the 8 port interfaces (plus the vlans etc etc) but not the 9 port.
Do i have to run a command to activate it at all or is it something else?
I hope the above makes sense, apologies if it doesn't
TIA

I do not believe it is meant to work i Slot 3.
The router can only support 2 of these switch cards. Even though there are a total of 2 switch cards, they are always enabled in the first two slots.

So on the rear of the 2921 there are 4 slots, 2 along the top for modules like HWIC cards and then 2 along the bottom for service modules.
