Cisco 2921 SM-D-ES3-48-P Session Hang. BAUD rate issues.

Hello,

I have a problem of my own making. This ES module previously had no OS loaded and was permanently in rommon. I was able to get an image on via xmodem. To speed up the process I had the console line set to 115200 BAUD on the router. In my excitement, after verifying the image was in the flash, I set the BAUD parameter back to 9600 on the ES module. (my understanding is the ES modules function at 115200). Things quickly got hosed after that. Now, when I try to session back into the module, it just permanently hangs.

So, when I session I get below:

Router#service-module gi1/0 sess

Trying 192.168.1.1, 2067 ... Open

And there's nothing after that. Normally, you hit enter a couple times and it kicks it into Switch> but, like I said, the prompt just freezes and I never get into the actual switch. I can break back into the router and disconnect the open session. service-module status shows it's up and in Steady state.

service-module interface slot/port password-reset does not work. I see the interface state changes and I get the message about password reset process being complete but I still can't get into the switch. I was really hoping password-reset would force it back into rommon but with the speed set to what it is I'm afraid I'll never be able to get back into the ES module.

Edit: I'd still be curious about if there's a way to fix this but I just got told to ship the module back to our warehouse so the problem is a moot point now. Apologizes for taking up anyone's time.

Looks like it hanged, may be need to remove the slot and putback to get back normal, or reload whole device.(reboot)
