I am in the process of replacing some of our routers with cisco 3560-CX switches. I have been working on setting one up. I pulled in a modified config of the old router and now I can login. I am trying to reset the cisco 3560-CX to factory default. However, it will not reset using mode button. I have tried holding the mode button. The 3 LEDs light up, the 2 bottom ones flash. They never go back solid and the box does not reboot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
DJ

Hello,
if you can login, can you get to the 'switch#' prompt ? If so, type 'setup' and press ENTER, that should at least get you into the initial configuration dialog...

How long did you hold the mode button? For me it came up to a : prompt. I only experienced holding the mode button for 10 seconds and it will reset the switch in the past but no luck today.
