Dears 

Cisco 3600 router in my network

when i try to write ex. acl and impliment that it successfully save the command but its not working what is the reason.

Command is running and save but not working that command so how can i resolve that problem

what does your access list look like, and how do you apply it ? Post the running config including the access list...

Hi

Cisco router could require an IOS upgrade but please share the config in order to verify it. If it is an exteded ACL, the sintaxis should be for example:

access-list <100-199> permit/deny <protocol> <source><wildcard><source port> <destination><wildcard><destination port>

** If the port is dinamic you can ommit that otherwise you can specify it using "eq" and if it is a range "range"

And applying:

interface fa0/0

ip access-group <ACL ID or name> in/out
