Cisco 7206 router..

Since 2 days I was trying to recover the password of 7206 router,we are using

SUP11/MSFC2 card in the router,the card model is

CAT6K-MSFC2.

IOS version is :

c6sup22-psv-mz.121-11b.EX1.bin.

can any one help me to do password recovery procedure for this scenario..

you need to console directly into the switch. do a reset on the MSFC module. This will reload the MSFC. After you do that type SWITCH CONSOLE . This will console you into the MSFC while it is reloading. Now perform a break sequence to attempt the password recovery. Once into ROMMON mode on the MSFC type 0x2142 enter..Now type i to initialize the MSFC. Once booted now you can look at the configuration and get your password or change it. Once you change it you need to reconfigure the register to 0x2102.
