Cisco 7206VXR Port Adapter Inquiry

Hi,

We're plannin to have a cisco 7206VXR router with NPE-G1. we're also planning to have a DS3 line for WAN connection to a remote corporate site.

What port adapter i'm going to use for the said WAN connection?

Hi,

Either of the following would do the job for you:

PA-A3-T3 1-Port ATM Enhanced DS3 Port Adapter

PA-A6-T3 1Port Enh ATM DS3 Port Adapter(8kVCs)

Simplest thing is to use PA-T3 clear channel DS3 card. This will provide you with a point-to-point serial connection. Just assign a /30 and you should be good to go.
