Hi, What would cause a 7606 router to reboot and give the following error message as the cause of the reboot:
"SP by bus error at PC 0x4041DF64,address 0x0"
Thanks in advance

More than likely software.

Some light reading on Bus errors.
you should look to see if you have a crashinfo file on the system. I'd contact the TAC

Nariman,
There is a lot to it that can cause a crash. You can attach a crashfile here or you can send the info to TAC for analyis.
Thanks

ok, thank you.
I was thinking it might be a known issue that had caused it.
I will look into it a bit deeper.
Thanks

If you say that the router crashed then there should be the presence of a file(s) or subdirectory called "crashinfo".
If there are, please post the latest three files.
