Cisco 837 Routers - Can they do ADSL2 & SDSL?

We have many LAN-to-LAN's using business ADSL lines. Our ISP will be offereing SDSL and ADSL2, are these 837 routers compatibel? If so will any our router configs need to be changed?

I feel SHDSL requires routers to support/meet ITU G.991.2 standard but i dont think 837 supports that.

Currently 837 supports only the ADSL specifications..

Pls find the specifications for both SHDSL and ADSL.

AFAIK Cisco 828 does have the support for GSHDSL but it has reached EOL/EOS status already..

If we need a router for our small UK remote offices to support ADSL2 and SDSL what is the preffered router?

You can check out for possible models in Cisco1700 series which supports both ADSL as well as G.SDSL WIC Cards..

Do find the link which contains the datasheets about the same from where you can choose the model which can fit into ur requirement..
