Level 1

Hi,

I am having a problem with a Cisco 887M-K9 which keep dropping it sync.

I have tried 2 diffrent locations and both time it dropped sync after 15 or minutes where other routers are working fine.

Please find below my config as well as the logs when the sync stops.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated...

Cisco Configuration Professional (Cisco CP) is installed on this device

already used the username "cisco" to login to the router and your IOS image

Tks very much for your suggestions.

That's all I have at the minute. Probably because it is no live.

I am trying to update the IOS to 15.2.4.

Trying to back up to tftp my current flash.

Talk to your provider and give them this output.

It's an ISP layer 1 issue.

Tks very much for taking the time leolaohoo.

The attenuation is definitealy very high since I'm at the end of the line.

But the router has been test on 2 different ADSL lines and both failed while 2 other cisco routers have had no problems at all.

I have upgraded the DSL firmware and I haven't had a single disconnection since last night.

Looks like the problem is solved.

Tks very much for providing me with your insight.

Tks

Ben
