Cisco ESS-3300-NCP Firmware Upgrade

Hello all,

I am currently working on a Cisco ESS-3300-NCP module (cisco board within a Klas Voyager ESR) running 17.02.01 Amsterdam. I am trying to upgrade it to 17.09.04.

I used TFTP to upgrade the firmware of a Cisco 6300 (same Klas Voyager device) with the router hosting 192.168.1.0/24, router being 1.1 and computer 1.2. This worked but using the same method for the 3300 (switch hosting the local network) I receive a "socket error".

I am unsure if the 3300 works with TFTP in that way or I am doing something wrong. To note the device does not have a USB slot so I cannot use that method. Any tips, tricks or help is greatly appreciated thank you.

TFTP should work - to confirm your TFTP working as expected - copy from device running config to TFTP see its working.

i follow below guide :

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/embedded/ess3300/software_config/b-cisco-embedded-services-3300-series-configuration/m-install-and-boot.html
