cisco meraki mx100 firewall becomes unavailable

We are using cisco meraki mx100 firewall in school. We are encountering internet interruptions from all clients. The mx100 firewall seems to stop working for some times that we have to turn it off for a while then turn it on again to reconnect to resume internet connection.

What causes the mx100 to freeze or stop working and becomes unavailable? Then after turning OFF and ON again the internet will resume!

Please is there anyone who can help me with our problem.

Hello

Is this occurring for both wired/wifi users?
Perform a quick status check on the MX from your pc  -  http://mx.meraki.com - (requires local admin/pwds creds)
Whats the color of the MX led before your reload it?
Change the cabling and test again?
Is the MX suppose to be receiving an dhcp address from it upstream connection - does it receive it?

Check for an updates recently pushed towards the MX -if so get it reverted and validate

Our internet bandwidth is 250Mbps,  and we got a good Etisalat business subscription...

Is there an issue on MX-100 if there are too many concurrent users... how many concurrent users is allowed to mx-100 to be able to work properly without interruption.

Adding to Paul comments.

1. Do you have stable Internet connection.

2. How is your Internet connection Terminated to MX100.

3. If possible for monitoring Purpose, implment the device directly facing internet, keep running the pings on.

4. when the MX 100 stop serving the check the  monitor device is the internet also go down ?

other side. Do you see any Logs in the Meraki Dash board. You can see also Dash board what time the device gone offline so you can easily keep eye on the issue those timings ( if random then you need to rely on the device kept for monitoring)

by the way what is the Current version MX100 running ?
