LOCD: Loss of Cell Delineation

Loss of Cell Delineation (LOCD) is a SONET port status indicator that activates when an LOCD defect occurs and does not clear for an interval of time equal to the alarm integration period, which is typically 2.5 seconds

hi vmiller thnks for replying but I also want to know how to rectify/resolve such alarm for smooth flow of the network.

Check the reference clock source. Compare

parameters between local and service provider end

or possibly a phsical layer problem.

thats the best i could find.

you could always open a case with the tac.

Hi vmiller,

Thanks for your support.......

How did you finally solve the problem.

We are also facing the same issue but on a E1 of AXSM-32-T1E1-E Card ?
