Hi Guys
I have the problem regarding router i can not acess the router cisco 2900 series by using ping command when i do this it display message like requested time out though it is connected with catalyst switch 4500 directly but it can not acessed in network any help regarding this issue will be highly appriciated thanks

check the port configuration of the port both side switch and router.
If you have console access for the router which is not reachable, post the configuration and explain which port connect to switch.

if your sure the switch has an IP address then it could be ping reply is negated - have you tried telnet or ssh to the device sourcing from your rtrs conneted interface?
