Hello
Problem Description:
I upgrade the IOS in the process, which has a 7606 device upgrade process in the case of illegal address
There are two other 7606 devices that can be upgraded in the same way. Also I try the following way, but it does not take effect.
Try the following solutions:

Step 1: rommon 3> set loadprog: disk0:c7600s72033-adventerprisek9-mz.122-33.SRE4.bin
Step 2: rommon 4>boot disk0:c7600s72033-adventerprisek9-mz.122-33.SRE4.bin

log:

Router#sh bootvar
BOOT variable = disk0:c7600s72033-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRD5.bin,1;
CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist
BOOTLDR variable does not exist
Configuration register is 0x2102

rommon 7 > boot disk0:c7600s72033-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRD5.bin

Initializing ATA monitor library...
loadprog: error - program section linked to illegal address
boot: cannot load "disk0:c7600s72033-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRD5.bin"

512090112 bytes total (378691584 bytes free)

What is the reason for this situation, how should be resolved. Thank you

Perhaps the image is corrupt.  You could try downloading it again.

Perhaps ROMMON itself needs an upgrade.

Thank you for your reply.

We try to re-use the FTP server to upload a new image, but still the same situation. Also tried to other 7606 devices can use the mirror passed in the past, or can not be resolved.

Have you used this same image on other 7606's?

Do they have the same ROMMON version?

Another possibility is you have a hardware failure.

I find the customer to confirm what. Will ROMMON version is how to view?

I'm not sure once you are in ROMMON.  Before hand "show ver" will tell you.

This is the information that is viewed through "show version"

Do you need any information? I try to find customers to collect, I try to collect. Is there a possible cause of such a phenomenon?

As well as possible solutions Thank you very much for your answer!

This is your ROMMON version.

ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 12.2(33r)SRE, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Do you know the ROMMON version on the broken unit?

It is starting to look like you have a hardware failure.

I would like to ask this version of the destruction of ROMMON unit, the need to see how we do not know here ROMMON information.

If this is a hardware failure, I will try to open CASE for detailed inquiries. Thank you!
