command to reload 4507 with dual SUP

Hi,

What is the command to reload the complete chassis with dual SUP? when i execute reload, active is getting failed over to secondary and vice versa only, but i want the entire chassis to be rebooted as  a part of my yearly reboots?

Just switch it off at the back , you cant invoke a reboot like that when you have sup redundancy setup ,you will need to kill the power to the chassis as everytime you reload it, it thinks its a failure and looks to push standby through

Other way is pull out the standby sup slightly from the slot and then issue reload on primary

There is no command to reload the 2 at once that I am aware off

#reload  - reload the entire chassis but only the primary supervisor

#redundancy reload shelf - reload entire chassis including both primary and standby supervisor  -> Complete outage

#redundancy reload peer - reloads only standby supervisor

#redundancy force-switchover - reloads current active and standby will take over as active
