Please give me a short note about tracert and traceroute command

Both do the same task in a different environment :
tracert - this command used most MS windows environment
traceroute command - used in cisco devices and Linux environments.

Hello,
the main difference between 'tracert' (Windows) and 'traceroute' (Cisco) is that the Windows flavor uses simple ICMP echo requests, while the Cisco traceroute uses UDP packets with a random destination port.
