Hi,
I searched a lot but couldnt find a clear document about connecting 2 G.SHDSL routers back to back.
First of all I am not sure which type of cable (RJ11) is used for connecting two 878 routers.
Does it have to be cross or straight cable.
Is there anyone telling which RJ11 pairs will be connected each other
1 --> 1
2 --> 2
3 --> 3
4 --> 4
5 --> 5
6 --> 6
OR
1 --> 1
2 --> 2
3 --> 4
4 --> 3
5 --> 5
6 --> 6
OR
1 --> 6
2 --> 5
3 --> 4
4 --> 3
5 --> 2
6 --> 1
According the configuration samples
One router must be CPE and the other must be CO for simulating DSLAM.
Can anyone send me a working back to back very simple example configuration.

Hi,
I had the same problem. The Cisco document 25900 (Configuring CPE Back-to-back through G.shdsl ports) was not helpful. But the following site is because it contains a working configuration. Hello Sniper,
the cable is not an issue because one side is configured at controller level for CO operations.
The exact configuration on 878 may be different from that reported in some examples and this may be the source of difficulties.
