I am trying to copy my IOS to my pc using Solarwinds.

Solarwinds is Started.

I am able to ping from my pc to the fa0/1 port on my switch.

These are in the same subnet.

Pinging with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=255

Reply from bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=255

Reply from bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=255

Reply from bytes=32 time=2ms TTL=255

Ping statistics for

    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

    Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 2ms, Average = 0ms

Switch(config-if)#do ping

Type escape sequence to abort.

Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to, timeout is 2 seconds:

Here is the error...

Switch#copy flash tftp

Source filename []? c3550-ipbasek9-mz.122-25.SEB4.bin

Address or name of remote host []?

Destination filename [c3550-ipbasek9-mz.122-25.SEB4.bin]?

For problems like you described my first thing is to suspect a problem in IP connectivity. But your post clearly shows that IP connectivity is working ok. So we need to look for something else as the problem.

Have you used Solarwinds TFTP on your PC before to TFTP files to your PC? I am wondering if the problem might be a setting in the firewall on your PC that is not allowing the connection initiated from the switch to your PC. I have had this problem with the firewall on my PC which by default does not allow incoming TFTP connecitons.
