I am tasked to evaluate whether my current head office require a cisco 39xx series core router.
I have abt 100 staff and a few servers in the head office.
the main mission critical servers are hosted at the data centre, which is far away from the head office.
total number of servers in the data centre = 25.
Network connection from head office to data centre is 90Mb IP VPN line.
My boss is asking is it an overkill to have a cisco 3845 router in the head office.
would a 29xx router handle the load in the head office ??

Worst case scenario for a 95 Mbps WAN link? 3945 would be sufficient. I wouldn't go for a 3845.

where in cisco website can I find the bandwidth supported for each router series ?
eg. 19xx router support up to 20Mb.
i cant find it in the datasheet.
