CPU Utilization - sho processes cpu sorted

Hi,

I suspect my router is having high cpu utilization as response to ssh and telnet is slow, also response to execute commands is slow.

I did a "show processes cpu sorted 5min"

Can anyone please explain the results of the "show processes cpu sorted 5min"

I have uploaded the results in the attachements.

1. sh version; and 
2. sh proc cpu sort | ex 0.00

Router is running a "T" train.  Can you try loading anything that is in the "M" train?

i really don't understand what you mean by T train and M train.

can you tell me how to do that please.

Look at the IOS version.  Notice it ends with a "T"?  This is a "T" train.  

Try looking for an IOS that ends with "M" like 15.6(3)M3.

I will download a "M" train as adviced and load it.

Your stats show most of your CPU is consumed by "interrupt", which assuming we're not looking at some bug, generally reflects the maximum forwarding capacity of the device has been hit.

What's your aggregate bandwidth consumption while your CPU is so loaded?

For a 2911, Cisco recommends it for up to 35 Mbps (duplex).

BTW, in later IOS versions, fragmentation appears to be processed in the "interrupt" path, but that will drive your CPU to hit max much sooner than it otherwise would.
