Hi All,
We're getting this error message when we run a 'show environment' command on our 3845 router:
SYS PS1 is present.
Fan status: Normal
Input Voltage status: Normal
DC Output Voltage status: Warning - failure
Type: AC
Thermal status: Normal
We've checked online, but could not find any more information on this and would really appreciate any insight.
Thanks!
Tom

Hi,
Is the system working with no issues. The DC output stat should be "normal"
from the 3800 troubleshooting document:
This is an example of the output of the show environment command for a Cisco 3845 router that has one AC power supply with IP phone power output installed:
Router# show environment
SYS PS1 is present
Fan status: Normal
Input Voltage status: Normal
DC Output Voltage status: Normal
Type: AC
Thermal status: Normal
SYS PS2 is absent
AUX (-48V) PS1 is present
AUX (-48V) PS2 is absent
Fan 1 Normal
Fan 2 Normal
Fan 3 Normal

Yes we have referred to that document already. Yes the router is up on the second power supply and no the document does not say anywhere what that Warning means, hence the reason I posted it up on forums to see if anyone can provide more insight.
Thanks.

I have this same issue and was wondering if you ever found a solution to this issue. I still can not find anything out on the web regarding this error.
Thanks.
