DHCP Issue on Cisco 3945 Router

Hi,

We are facing DHCP issue in Cisco 3945 router. when leased address are reaches more than 2500 its stop working after that clients are getting APIPA address. Is there any limitation in Cisco 3945 router to support more than 2500 DHCP IP.

Please find the attached show tech and show ip DHCP pool command o/p for your reference.

i would try this clear the  ip dhcp conflicts *

and also set no ip dhcp conflict logging in running config , that should help going on the alerts in your logs

check if your utilization mark has not been set to something lower than 100:

3945#show ip dhcp pool

Pool admin :
Utilization mark (high/low) : 100 / 0

Also, make sure that there are no clients with statically assigned IP addresses that are not excluded from the pool, these can sometimes mess address assignment. With that many leases, you might have one or more rogue clients...
