HI..
If we have several static routing, can we distribute this static routing to OSFP or EIGRP? So all router will using same path to reach the specific destination?

Hello
If you redistribute that static route to the others routers that have a default route, then that received redistributed static route for that advertised network will be preferred over any default route.

I always see this Q in Cisco Community, and it confuse alot.
I end to finish this confuse
R3 have Lo 10.10.0.1/16
R2 have Lo 10.0.0.1/24
R1 have default route toward R3
R2 run OSPF with R1 and R2 advertise the 10.0.0.0/24 (Lo subnet )
and R1 now have two route
default to R3
O to R2
if R1 have packet with
IP 10.10.0.1
to which route the R1 will forward this packet??
sure via R3 because LONGEST MATCH win for prefix in RIB
So answer is R1 not prefer one path it simply run LONGEST MATCH and which path is win the R1 will use to forward traffic.
thanks and I hope this clear this issue for all.

I dont full get your Q. But
You can sure redistribute static into ospf.
The router will be asbr and advertised static route to other ospf routers.

I mean i have specific static routing example
ip route 12.12.12.12/32 10.10.0.1
Also example i have another 3 router indicated 3 location and connected using osfp, and this 3 router have default route to 0.0.0.0/0 connected to each ISP
My question is can we redistribute route to 12.12.12.12 via 10.10.0.1 rather than this traffic goes to each sites internet provider?

sorry can you more elaborate.

if I am right
each router will have
1- E1/2 O of the prefix
2- default router
the router add these to RIB and longest match win.

again LONGEST MATCH WIN for router to use route in RIB.
thanks
