DS3 bandwidth

I have a 7206 router and I am trying to determine the correct DS3 banwidth from the serial interface .

The configuration of the interface is as shown:

interface Serial1/0

no ip address

encapsulation frame-relay IETF

ip route-cache flow

load-interval 30

dsu bandwidth 44210

framing c-bit

cablelength 50

clock source internal

serial restart-delay 0

frame-relay lmi-type ansi

frame-relay intf-type dce

There are subinterfaces configured below that, but the DS3 is a point to point to our DR side.

The interface is only going to show what is configured under the Bandwidth statement corrrect?

Is there any way to determine if we are getting 45Mbps bandwidth from the interface?

Yes, you are. The only thing that would change bandwidth is the "dsu bandwidth" statement.

The what kind of bandwidth you have via Frame-relay, it's another issue.

hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
