Hi All

whats up gold picked up my serial inteface on my internet router as being 1.54mbs.

this is not the case, its only 1mb so the graphs are inacurate.

when I do a sh int it says bw is 1.54mbs.

my question is where is that being picked up from?

#sh int serial 0

Serial0 is up, line protocol is up

Hardware is PowerQUICC Serial

Internet address is 1.2.3.4/30

MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1544 Kbit, DLY 20000 usec,

reliability 255/255, txload 19/255, rxload 119/255

Encapsulation HDLC, loopback not set

Keepalive set (10 sec)

Last input 00:00:00, output 00:00:00, output hang never

Last clearing of "show interface" counters never

Default value assigned to T1 serial interfaces. T1 bandwidth = 1.544Mbps

If you want to change it, you can use the bandwidth command under the interface.
