EIGRP PBR on NX7K

Hello,

I'm trying to create a PBR to redistribute static routes into EIGRP on a NX7K. Cisco's document below states that the route-map policy needs to be implemented at the Interface level.

My question is, do I need to apply this policy on every interface that I have configured for EIGRP or can I just implement this route-map under the EIGRP instance?

I've the config applied to the NX switches but haven't scheduled to roll them out into the prod environment yet. However, the config is pretty straight forward.

I wonder why you use route-map here? 

route-map can

A-use to tag 

B-use to change the metric

The NX-7Ks require route-maps in order to redistribute static routes into another dynamic routing protocol. In my case, I am using EIGRP.
