EIGRP seems no limitation. No documentation about using EIGRP with what kind router can build a large network using Metro Ethernet. Cisco7600 will turn unstable after applying over 600 eigrp neighbors.

It normally depends on the memory size. I didn't try to use EIGRP as many as 600 routes at 7600. Can you share how it react if it is unstable ? High CPU loading ?
Moreover, did you try to summarize the routes ?

I found the problem.
Memory is enough. EIGRP may be no problem.
CPU is 99% always to make EIGRP neighbors restart.
The Question is IOS bugs or C7606 CPU limit.
However, I use 2811 to run 300 eigrp neighbors and
work well. Just the convergence time longer when restart the link, about 5mins.

Thanks for your update and it is good (or bad) to find it is a bug. Will it be fixed by upgrade the IOS ?

I am using the latest IOS to test it.
So... future i dunno...
