Expansion card not showing after installation on CISCO router 1921

Hello,

I bought a Cisco VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1 2-Port T1/E1 Multiflex VWIC Card for my 1921 router, unfortunately is not showing the ports after the "show ip interface brief" command.

at this point I am quite lost, don't know if I ordered the wrong expansion card for the router or a configuration is needed on the device.

I am currently building my home lab to study and get ready to pass the CCNA 200-301 exam - The purpose of purchasing an expansion card was to connect two layer 3 switches.

Please Help and many many thanks!!!!!!

The following is some output from the router.

Hello,

I don't think the VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1 is supported at all on the 1921. It is supported on the 2951 and the 3925

Check Table 2 of the document linked below:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/interfaces/software/feature/guide/vd-t1e1_4p_vwic3.html

Also check the section 'Platforms supported' in the document linked below.the 1921 is not listed...
