Hi,
I have the following scenario. Multiple sites from LocationA to LocationZ are connected by AT&T EVPN. Multiple hosts in LocationA in the same network to be move to LocationB. Because of proximity, the plan is to move the hosts from LocationA to LocationB in batches but using the same IP Address and remain accessible from all locations. I think it can be done by extending the VLAN from LocationA to LocationB. Question is, has anyone have the same scenario with the same provider and service and what is the approach/solution and technology use? Will 802.1Q Tunneling is the solution for this scenario? I want to know before I approach the provider :)
TIA

Hi,
I think you may want to look into L2tp(Layer 2 tunneling protocol). This way you can extend VLANs through a WAN.
