If this is a production PC then I wouldn’t suggest you default any physical interfaces that are part of the etherchannel, you should in theory be able just to add an additional physical interface to a existing PC unless its not configuration the same as the other members ports.
So make sure the physical interface your adding has parity with the other PC members in terms of configuration.
